چکیده
Analysis of variance (ANOVA) refers to statistical models and associated procedures, in which the observed variance is partitioned into components due to different explanatory variables. It provides a statistical test concerning if the means of these several groups are all equal. In its simplest form, ANOVA is equivalent to Student's t-test when only two groups are invloved. The analysis of variance were first developed by R. A. Fisher in the 1920s and 1930s1. Thus, it is also known as Fisher's analysis of variance, or Fisher's ANOVA.

Tungsten dioxide (WO(2)) nanorods were synthesized, which showed excellent catalytic activity for the reduction of triiodide to iodide. The dye-sensitized solar cell (DSC) using WO(2) as a counter electrode (CE) reached a high energy conversion efficiency of 7.25%, which can match the performance of the DSC based on a Pt CE.
